To the casual observer, it may appear that memes are all fun and games, with not so much effort expended on any count. However, this isn't always the case. It can take a lot of effort to be a true memer, keeping on top of what is trending and making humor out of the topics that aren't as overdone as the others. While blind luck is often a big factor in the ultimate success of singular memes, there is also an element of skill involved when it comes to being on the pulse before anybody else is.

With that in mind, it is worth lingering a second or two longer than you might usually when you take in each individual meme that you find here. For every one that was whipped up without a second thought, there are bound to be others that had some true craftsmanship put into them for them to work.
